Senior Project Control Specialist
The Role
Role combines duties across cost analysis and planning/scheduling.
- Coordinate the overall cost analysis activities on one or more major complex projects; assuming responsibility for preparation, quality and accuracy of project cost reports; establishing liaison with project management and clients on all matters relating to cost control; making periodic site visits to verify field cost reporting; assigning and reviewing work of subordinate cost analysis staff.
- Prepare complex engineering and construction schedules for major project proposals and projects in process; maintaining schedules on a current basis as well as ensuring proper timing, compatibility and competency of supporting schedules; initiating or preparing reports to management regarding project scheduling; working closely with project management to improve performance in project planning and execution; assigning and reviewing work of subordinate scheduling staff.
- 7+ years relevant experience
Project Control Professional
The Role
Role combines duties across cost analysis and planning/scheduling.
- Prepare project cost reports; monitoring man-hours and cost progress to establish trends and to assist in forecasting future costs; initiating the preparation of estimates for contract scope changes or extra work orders; making periodic site visits to review cost reporting.
- Prepare detailed engineering and construction schedules for project proposals and projects in process; maintaining schedules on a current base; preparing reports to management regarding project scheduling activities; ensuring appropriate documentation is maintained.
- 3+ years relevant experience.
Junior Project Control Professional
The Role
This is the entry level position for individuals who have had previous experience within other functional areas.
- Under close supervision, the individual performs the routine aspects of planning/scheduling and/or cost engineering assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic project controls principles.
- Using prescribed methods, performs specific and limited portions of planning/scheduling and/or cost engineering assignments.
